Do I need a Domain Name?
Yes, you will. We can purchase domain names for you; they are $39.95 + GST per year, or we can recommend online companies to purchase directly.
How do emails work?
Suppose you would like a @ your domain name email address we recommend Google Suite. We can recommend a provider to set this up or direct you to set these up. We are happy to make any of the geeky domain name changes to get your emails working with your new website.
What is Hosting?
The platform we build your website on has to be setup on a live computer that is fast, hooked up to the internet and secured. We make these websites on our internal platform called the VI Toolbox. It is perfect for small websites just like this.
If you prefer your website to be built on WordPress we can also do this, but note hosting is $49 + GST per month. Ask us about our recommendations if unsure.
Does the website include copywriting?
Great question. In your 1-hour meeting with our creative director, he will help you create some broad strokes on your copy. But due to this being a low priced website it does not include end to end copywriting.
For an additional $200 + GST per hour, we are happy to get on a call and write the copy with you and can provide proofreaders at $100 + GST per hour.
How long does it take?
Once we have received payment, we will send you a starter brief to kick us off. This will also help you book your 1-hour initial consultation with our creative director. As long as we receive all the content, these websites can be live within 1 – 2 weeks of the meeting with our creative director.
