The Challenge

Nothing off the shelf could keep up

Davis International were not after anything fancy. They needed a system to manage their enquiries, support their administrators, and work the way their organisation actually works. The platform they had was the opposite. It was hard to use, out of step with their processes, and it had the admin team spending more time on workarounds than on supporting facilitators and clients.

Like most people, they assumed the answer was one of the big names. They looked hard at Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho. Zoho looked promising at first: flexible, good value, close enough on paper.

Then they dug into the detail. Their workflows turned out to be far more specialised than anyone realised. This was not a business that should bend around a CRM. It needed a CRM that could genuinely work for the business. The customisation required pushed every off-the-shelf option into either "not quite possible" or "well past budget."
