The brief

## Built around the work that needed to happen next.

Karen and Ben first spoke with Virtual Innovation after buying Flowers After Hours. At the time, it was one respected Parnell store with a fantastic reputation and an ambition to grow. The existing website was in reasonable shape but was not performing as well as it could. After discussing the benefits of Shopify, we joined the project as the development partner and worked closely with their designer to turn a strong visual direction into a practical ecommerce store.

The outcome

## A polished ecommerce platform that reflects the brand, supports growth across Auckland and gives Karen and Ben a dependable technical team when they need one.

Working closely with Karen, Ben and their designer, we translated the visual direction into a Shopify experience that feels refined without making day-to-day ecommerce harder than it needs to be.

The store gives the team a dependable platform for products, seasonal campaigns and delivery across Auckland. Shopify lets them manage much of the business themselves while giving us room to step in for larger technical changes or busy trading periods.

Four years on, the relationship still works the way it should. Some months require more hands-on support and others very little. The platform keeps doing its job while Virtual Innovation remains available whenever the next technical need arrives.
